This is Hooky, the funny, helpful multifunctional snake hook.
It fits into the 7mm Keder rail and locks itself under load. It is very strong, but the thin walls at the holes mean that it can break under extreme conditions to prevent damage to the awning.
Of course he likes as a crochet bags, clothes, towels, lamps. Different holes simultaneously provide other functionalities, such as extra support for the awning in strong winds (see photo above). You can even 'lock' the hook by using the eye and one of the holes with a cord or cable tie.
